Gelato Weekend

Allow me to recap what we’ve accomplished here at Gelato headquarters since leaving the office on Friday afternoon:

Meeting with freelance client
Grocery Shopping
Breakfast with friends
Reading at nearby bookstore
Received phone call from parents
Made two batches of Chex Mix
Sorted through two enormous piles of paperwork
Shredded
Shredded some more
Returned phone call to Aunt
Worked on elaborate mix cds to give as Christmas gifts to nieces
Watched most recent Harry Potter movie on DVD
Reported missing newspaper delivery to local paper
Another trip to grocery store, spurred by missing newspaper
Unsuccessful trip to Pier One hoping to procure a cute pink Christmas ornament
Received phone call from Grandmother
Removed approximately 5lbs of frozen, left-over grilled vegetables from freezer and cooked them down into approximately 6 cups of delicious vegetable stock
Froze stock in ice cube trays
Listened to 10 episodes of the already cancelled Pop Vultures
Fought with ibook, airport base and printer to figure out why they decided not to play together nicely
Began constructing Christmas cards
Made experimental batch of Oreo Bark
Watched Arrested Development
Read local paper & Times
Cooked fabulous tofu dish for dinner
Cleaned off work table
Collected necessary materials to assemble earrings intended as Christmas gifts
